Yestreday I did a article about Doctor Bloomfield. The task was to make a article about a person you like or you look up to, I did Dr Bloomfield because of Covid-19 we are stuck in the house and we see him almost every day on the TV talking about how we can stop the virus, I think he is a really good person and is a good helper for the prime minister.

On Monday we went to Orana Park. We had two classrooms going so we spilt up into two groups, room 5 and room 6. We had a great teacher her name was Bethany,first she led us to the zoo school, the zoo school was a place where we put our bags. Bethany told us that the 2 classes would go two different ways. I thought that was a really good idea because people would not be able to see the animals if we went as a big group.
The first thing we saw were the lions. We got really close to them because they came close to the fence. Bethany said that was unusal because they don't usally come this close. There were 2 girls and 2 boys they were all family. Bethany told us really cool facts, the lion boys didn't have manes she told us it was because they had surgey that made them not have manes. They can't have manes because they live with their female family and girl lions thinks the manes a manly and they like them and they shouldn't mate because they are family.
We saw alot of animals. We saw Tigers, Bethany told us about them aswell she told us about how their are only a few in new zealand, orana park only has two tigers. They are two young boys. When they are older one will go to a different zoo across the country and the other one will stay here, when the tiger is older and is here they will try to find a girl tiger so they can have cubs so we can have more tigers in the zoo.
Bethany took us around the zoo and she showed us the Gorillas, Giaffe, Rhinoceros, Reptiles, Kiwis, Springbok. There were so many more though. I really liked the spring box because Bethany told us a awesome fact about them, Bethany told us that male springboks have a flap of skin on their back, when they want to impress a female springbok the comes out and hair is on the flap of skin and they females think it is manly. My Favourite animal was the tasmanian devil, I liked the tasmanian devil because there were four of them, I learnt that when another tasmanian devil come up to them they start sneezing and that would usally get them away from where they are butif that doesn't work they will start screaming and they will get into a big fight, they could be screaming and biting eachother. Bethany said that they will bite eachothers butt.

This week we have been learning about cross product and how to do it. If you would want to sovle 21x31= i can teach you with my DLO, we were learning how to do it and at first i didn't get it but now it is really easy, you can use your basic facts to learn how to do this, it is easy beacuse you can use your basic facts and if you know easy basic facts it will be easy to use this. Here is an example
I was working on Animals at war we had to do explain why Animals were at war I did examples of why animals had to go to war and, I did it on so it looks like a newpaper and I put a picture of a bear and its owner.
This past week I have been working on the Jorunal Entry of St.Bernadette of when she first met Mary, Because we had to make a Journal Entry about when she met Mary. I did it on a google drawing of when she went to the grotto and saw mary for the first time and thats is how she knew how to pray the rosray.
Today we were doing all about me 2021. For this task we will have to write you inerests also Introdruce yourself and your funneist memory and the goals you have for this year, I did that and put it all in a google drawing and in the middle you were supposed to put a photos of yourself i put a younger photo of me with my friend. now you know a little bit about me.
This week we have been working on ballads and poems. I have been doing it about camp. I have been doing it about the nights my favourite night was the first one we had lots of fun but we got told off alot for being to loud then I got a little bit of heat storke, I made 3 ballads there is one about the first night there is one about the second night and there is one about spotlight. I enjoyed doing this because I liked camp.
A I heard the girls shout,

B I said give a rest
A and then we shut our Mouths.
A They said we were playing spotlight
A I said it is going to get cold in the night
B So I put a sweatshirt on then I ran
B I went to my hiding spot i saw a man
A but then the bell rang and I saw no one in sight
A It was the first night
A I was asleep then I got a fright
B It was Fria saying she wanted to sleep on the floor
B Then someone opened the door
A It was the teacher telling us we will be cleaning when it got bright.
This past 2 weeks we have been doing Maths and it is fun because our teacher made this really cool and fun slideshow, that tell you how to learn new things, but made it really fun. I thought I should do converting inproper Fraction into wholes with remainders, I thought to do this because I wanted to learn something new and I thought it was really cool and I would use this alot, I made a google drawing about how to learn about it.
Today My class and Room 5 did hang outs and people explain how to use apps and how to make it easy to use I am going to be talking about Easel.ly. This is an app to make cool posters and pictures. The that told us about the app helped me alot and know I know alot about the app.
My favourite thing about the app is that it is easy to use and it explains alot of what to do.
The first person to write an Encyclical was 1740 and was written by Pope Benedict XIV. THe people that have written the most was Pius XII, he wrote 41 Encyclical. Pope Francis has written 2 Encyclical, They write it for the issues in the church. Now there are over 300 Encyclical
