Our New Church

we were writing about our new church it took about a year to re-build the church they needed to re-build the church because the earthqauke did some damageand we had to do it in the hall.




I was lining up with people in the choir, the church was bright on the outside I didn’t know if it was on the inside, I was excited. It was our turn to get in first thing I noticed when I went in was that it was so bright,  then I couldn’t find the holy water, then it was in the actually church then I saw a big cross underneath father, I saw the stations of the cross and a really big tabernacle then we sat down and then I saw there were two screens one was on one side and one on the other side then father started talking about how the statue of  St.Bernadette came from France and the stations of the cross and the big cross came from Spain. He also said that the painting on the wall is a tree and that is when Jesus is the truck and we are the branches in we tree. On the other side of the church there was a statue of mary and it was really big and on the top of the church outside there is a huge big red cross. Then when I looked up there is a skylight and that is why it is really bright inside.

It was a dark night at 11pm it was very calm there was a full moon out and I was walking home from high school then I heard a scream, I didn’t know where it was coming from but I tried to find where. Then I just gave up I saw a girl in a white dress with blood on it I thought that it was just a design. And then thought it was a dream but I saw blood everywhere then I saw a head oww I said is that my own then I said that couldn't be then I wouldn’t be talking to myself right know I went home then I asked my mum if my best friend could come over and then she said “ yes but you have to do something inside” ok I said then but mum I said yes can you come with me why you can go yourself you have a car fine so I went to my friends house and then I was at my friends house and it took about 5 minutes to go to my friends house then he said do you want to see the movie that I just bought sure, then we watched the movie and it was so creepy that I peed my pants the and I had this dream that I saw a waggin. Then I ran and sat on it then I heard someone and they said in a very posh voice who is on my waggin and I was shocked that someone was inside of it then I jumped off and the lady had so much makeup I cried with laughter and she said what’s so funny then I said falling on the ground you and your makeup what is wrong with my makeup she said and she looked crazy she had powder on her face and lipstick way over her lips and her eyeliner was horrible umm how are you I said I’m miss potato head she said I have super powers omg you really have super powers. Yes I do, so what is your super power I can give people wishes how many only 3 my child ok I wish for this waggin to fly ok and then when I knew it it flew up into the air and then I jumped in with the lady. Then I said, I want an giant owl ok and a owl appeared right beside me. I will call you Jack cool. Then I said I want a hot boyfriend then she said ok here then this cute boy came out of nowhere then everything disappear then I woke up and my friend was gone then I went to my car and gone to the shop then there was a new shop called swords and swords and more swords (this is not a shop I just made it up) then I went inside there was lots and lots of boys I didn’t like it at all I’ll tell you why there were only to girls me and my new friends.

The Goblins Wish

we had to write a story about this guy who had lost a key and tried to find it and here is mine:

It was 3 days since it has gone missing. One minute he had held it then poof it was gone.

I was reading a book about trying to find a key so I could find it ,then a big bang came from the door. My dad (Peter) answered  the door and then he started crying, so I quickly ran over and dad said “this is your twin sister’’ and I was shocked because I didn’t know that I had a twin sister. We looked the same we sounded the same we had the same clothes on the only thing we didn’t have in common was our eyes, I had blue and she had brown my dad soon stopped crying a few minutes later, at night I heard something come from room so I speed to my dad’s room. Then I saw my two bff turn into goblins then I saw that Gabbie had the key in her hand. I was about to run at them but then Gab said if you come any close to me I will chop your dads head off, then my dad said son just do it I may die but just do it. So I closed my eyes took a deep breathe and whispered to myself Jessie  you can do this so I ran AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Hand then I smacked the sword out of there hand and then a black hole came out of nowhere and whooped them away we did it dad no you did it son and dad just froze then a knock on the door came and he got so scared he unfroze and a person was at the door it was my actually my twin how came all the way back from Ireland and then my mum came back from Norway and gave us clothes and a puppy we called Moze which is a girl.

I was born in New Zealand and I have 1 little brother called Preston.

My favourite subject at school is maths because it is fun and cool,
In my spare time I play on my computer or play with my dog called moe or play with my friends.

I play netball my team is called  Rolly Ratbags we have 7 kids and 2 coaches the coaches

Our School

St. bernadette’s school is a catholic school in hornby also in Hei Hei that goes up to year 0-8.

There are 132 people in our school , In room 1 there are 14 people and in room 2 there are 15, room 5 26,room 4 25, room 8 23, room 6 29 and there are 7 staff,7 teachers and 1 principal. We have 3 student teacher they are called Miss Dywer also Miss Mongillo, Mr  Crowda.

We have C.E.R.R values C is for compassion  E is for Excellence R for Responsibility the last R is Respect.

We have 3 Big actually HUGE!  Playgrounds the colorful one is the junior playground and the wooden playground is the senior one which is in the middle and the end one is where everyone can play. We also have a P.E shed were we put our all our sport stuff in it and we also have a friendship chair that is were if you are a lonely someone will see you and play with you.

We do prayer assembly every monday morning  and we talk about he C.E.R.R values and they teach us about it. We also have breakfast club were people eat food before school.

We have 2 kiwi can leaders called Katie and Ross and they talk about doing the right thing and we play fun games and learn a lot of stuff and we do this every friday.

We  have a walking line were we walk out of school with a teacher and walk across the road or go left or right and walk home.
